About Stephanie
Stephanie Clifford-Smith has been interested in food since before she could write. Now she’s mastered the keyboard as well as the cutlery, she writes about it for a living.
Stephanie spends her spare time reading about food and cooking, and travels regularly, but acknowledges that her itineraries are mostly organised around eating too.
Besides her Three of a Kind column and other restaurant reviewing, she writes about seasonal produce, reviews cookbooks and answers readers’ eating-out queries on the Eatstreets website.
In an effort to dispel her concern that she is becoming one-dimensional, she also does a bit of salsa dancing - it helps burn calories. She has two sons and lives in Sydney with her husband.
